Gramma Tell the Story

Maida’s memoir is a response to her grandchild’s request –“Gramma, tell the story of how you came to America.”Her story looks back at her early life:growing up on a farm in Kerry, going to school,and learning the fiddle from the famous Irish fiddle player,Pádraig O’Keeffe.Then she describes her journey to the United Statesat the tender age of nineteenand tells the story of her life there.By turns funny, moving and uplifting,it will be cherished by her whole family.I dedicate this book to my grandchildren and their children.
